Ms. Boone was licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois in 1997 and began her practice in the acute care setting in medical, surgical and cardiac step-down. Over the next five years, her practice expanded into intensive care, burn, psychiatric nursing, gastroenterology, orthopedic care and outpatient surgery.

She moved to Florida in 2002 where she continued her acute care practice at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville in the cardiac step-down unit. She then expanded into field case management and medical consulting in 2003 and she received her Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) in 2004.

In 2010 Ms. Boone began providing medical consulting and case management involving Florida Statute 112.18, more commonly referred to as the Florida Heart/Lung Bill, for local municipalities. On the strength of her reputation, skills and knowledge, Ms. Boone opened Boone Consulting Group in 2015 to provide premier services to the Workers' Compensation industry in Florida. She has an extensive medical background and a focus on working closely with numerous carriers and defense attorneys throughout the state.
